During his career, Ćirić represented FK Partizan (it would be his first and last club), FC Barcelona, AEK Athens F.C. and Real Valladolid. He also played four times for the Yugoslavia national football team. In 1995, Ćirić scored a spectacular goal against FK Budućnost in Podgorica in a 5-1 Partizan win. The goal was recently recovered.[1]
With the Catalonia outfit, he was used regularly - though never an undisputed starter - as it won the league and cup in his first year, but was absolutely cast aside in the second season, then moving to Greece for a respectable year, which ended with the domestic cup's conquest. He retired at the age of 30.
